In many ways, I’m ashamed to admit I read this series. It is, however, a remarkably told story. It recounts a “what if” scenario of the Harry Potter series. It hypothesizes what might have happened after the victory of Voldemort in the great war. There is one survivor from our famed trio of the original books: Hermione. This book documents her journey as she endures a new world under Voldemort’s reign and remembers the trials she went through to survive the war.
Please note that this book does have sexual themes. I skipped those parts and don’t endorse them. However, the story is SO good, I found it worth reading with a “filter”.
Again, I don’t want it getting out that I read this book so don’t ask me about it.
