Manhood by Josh Hawley
This book, written by Senator Josh Hawley, a man who may be one of the last good men in the US political system, outlines the roles that are required for men to fulfill based on doctrine from the Bible.
Hawley outlines several “roles”, ranging from provider to priest and dissects how those roles are defined and justified through the Bible.
Building on these roles, Hawley proceed to disembowel leftist ideology in showing how these roles cannot be filled by men following a “woke” theology. He proves effectively why the lack of acceptance or emphasis for these roles in modern society are causing many of the countries our nation is facing.
Things I Liked About This Book
Author’s Defined Roles for Men
The roles that Hawley outlines line up very much with the doctrine that my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, teaches. This made it a fun a relatable read for me. I will use this book as reference in my future scripture studies.
